Doug the Labrador - Hampshire, UK

I have had quite a few commissions from Hampshire which is where I grew up.

Hampshire's countryside is a big contrast to Somerset in that trees are everywhere, which block out the wind. The heather by the roads are beautiful colours that change throughout the year.

Doug was made using mostly Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and Luminence pencils for the highlights on Mi-Tientes paper.

I chose this darker coloured paper to make the portrait's light yellows, golds and pinks stand out.
